Local Community Links
The goals of The Minnesota Feis go beyond just hosting our event every September.  We're continuing to reach out to others in an effort to unite and work with other Irish Dance, Music and business groups in the Twin Cities and beyond.  Being a separate entity from local dance schools and other organizations, we like to listen to feedback and suggestions so that we can continue to improve and grow with everyone's best interest at heart and to also do what we can to support others!

We believe that building on a good thing is key and being able to share this culture with everyone makes it all worthwhile!

Below are links to other local Irish community groups for you to explore.

The Celtic Junction
The Celtic Junction was created to celebrate and nurture thriving Celtic Arts by supporting local artists and facilitating the education of those arts to the local community. The Celtic Junction wishes to bring many artistic traditions (music, dance, language, visual arts, instrument building and others) together under one roof and to provide a home where our community can thrive and grow together. Our desire is that by bringing together this thriving arts community, providing first-class facilities and amenities, and employing and supporting our local artists, The Celtic Junction might bolster the next chapter of Celtic culture and history here, in the place we are blessed to call home.

Irish Fair of Minnesota
Join us on the banks of the Mississippi River for a three-day celebration of Irish heritage with music, dance, family activities and good craic. Since 2001, beautiful Harriet Island Regional Park in downtown St. Paul has hosted the Irish Fair. The festival is recognized as one of the most
family-friendly events in the Twin Cities, one of the most authentic Irish festivals nationwide and an amazingly great time by the nearly 100,000 people who attended last year's festival.

The Center for Irish Music
Irish traditional music is for singing, for dancing, for community and for the sheer joy of it! The Center for Irish Music is a music school dedicated to teaching traditional music to the wee and the grown.  Our teachers share all aspects of traditional music with you through group classes, workshops, camps and private lessons.  The Center for Irish Music is more than a school, we are a community of artists dedicated to handing down traditional music and song to the next generation of musicians. We provide cultural education and context for the music. Through our activities the Center is invigorating the Twin Cities by providing access to an exciting music tradition that is rare and rich. We have made Minnesota a recognized destination for world renowned touring musicians-- and have some of those on our faculty as well. CIM is helping make Minnesota into a center for traditional music and Celtic cultural activity.

The Irish Music and Dance Association
(IMDA) is a cultural and educational organization established to support, coordinate, encourage and promote high quality activities and programs in Irish music and dance in the Twin Cities community. We hope to foster greater awareness, understanding, appreciation of and participation in the traditional arts of Ireland and related cultural traditions.
